Eksen Research (The terms Eksen, We, Our, and Us refer to Eksen Research) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data (The term “personal data” refers name, address, e-mail address, phone number or other information that identifies you or makes you identifiable) we collect from you, or that you provide to us on www.eksen.eu (“our site”), will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
We undertake research that collects or evaluates personal information about a living person who can be identified from the information they have provided we aim to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
In addition to this Privacy Policy, Eksen Research complies with the ESOMAR Online Research Guidelines, which regulate user rights and privacy (https://www.esomar.org/what-we-do/code-guidelines/esomargrbn-online-research-guideline).
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) governs the processing (i.e. obtaining, holding, organizing, recording, retrieval, use, disclosure, transmission, combination and destruction) of personal and sensitive data (The term “sensitive data” refers data consisting of racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation) and sets out the rights of individuals whose information is processed in manual or electronic form or held in a structured filing system.
Information We Collect From You
Eksen Research collects your personal information in several ways. Some of your information is collected during registration. When registering, we ask you to provide us with your name, surname, email address, household information, and personal interests. When you provide consistent information, you will receive more invite to participate in. After you become a member of Eksen Research, you are no longer an anonymous user for us.
We collect and process the following data on our site:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

Ip Addresses
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is used to generate statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns.

Our site uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website and to remember you between visits. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site.

Aim of Data Collection
Eksen Research collects valuable information used in the development of new products and services. When you are asked to share your personal information in Eksen Research, you will only share this information with Eksen Research unless otherwise stated. Eksen Research does not rent or sell your information to anyone. If data is collected for any organization other than Eksen Research, you will be warned in advance. If you do not want your information to be shared, you can use this option.
Eksen Research promotions are organized by sponsors and / or Eksen Research. The data collected during the promotion can be shared with the sponsoring organization and you will be informed in advance. If you do not wish to participate in promotions, we will not share your information with anyone.
All your sensitive information will be given special care. This sensitive information includes information about your health, your active origins, your political, philosophical and religious views, your sexual life and your preferences. If we need to share any of this information with third parties, we expressly ask for your permission.
Websites advertising to Eksen Research may want to collect personal information about you on their site. These applications of these websites are not the responsibility of Eksen Research.
Sharing information
As a general rule, Eksen Research does not share any personally identifiable information.
However, in some of our surveys, the sponsoring organization may ask you to share this information. In such cases, the survey will clearly ask you if you would like to share this information.
Sponsor organizations may sometimes make promotional sweepstakes among participants. When you participate in these sweepstakes, you agree that Eksen Research will share your name and email address with the sponsoring organization. This information is required to notify you of the draw results.
Eksen Research can sometimes share user statistics anonymously and collectively with sponsoring agencies to identify services and capacity (for example, 20% of our members are high school graduates, 52% are women).
Eksen Research is obliged to share the account information of users who violate the Terms of Use or violate the rights of Eksen Research and other members with or without knowing.
Updating, Correcting and Deleting Personal Information
You can update or correct your account information at any time.
Eksen Research may delete or deactivate your account at your request. By filling a form, you can request that your account be deleted or deactivated.
Where We Store Your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. If your personal data is transferred to, stored at or otherwise processed in a country or territory outside the EEA, and that country or territory has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection, we will put in place additional safeguards to protect your personal data, based on standard contractual clauses. Keeping Your Personal Data Secure
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure server and is password protected. We limit access to the information by our own employees, contractors, site service providers and those individuals who are authorized for the proper handling of such information. We request that our third-party contractors and site service providers follow similar standards of security and confidentiality.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Your Rights
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.
